Nine times out of ten this is a JavaScript conflict from a third-party addon, a jQuery migration, or a caching layer stripping admin AJAX. We deactivate addons one-by-one on staging, restore the exact combination that loads, and lock the versions so it does not regress on the next auto-update.
The Pro license has expired or the site was cloned without re-authorising Pro. We renew, re-connect the license under your account, and re-save the affected pages so the Pro widgets re-render — no data lost.
Usually a PHP memory ceiling on a hosted plan or a widget calling a deprecated Elementor hook. We raise WP_MEMORY_LIMIT, capture the fatal in debug.log, and patch or replace the offending widget with a supported alternative.
Global settings live in wp_options as serialised arrays. A theme swap can rewrite the active kit ID. We restore the original kit from the last verified backup and lock it as the site-wide default.
