FixRunner is best known for the $49 one time WordPress fix (30 minutes of unlimited help) and a strong Trustpilot score. Their monthly Premium plan is $59 and Rocket is $89. We are built for the ongoing care plan that prevents the fix in the first place, with a written SLA and a refund window.
If you only have a minute, read this. Full comparison and proof below.
Pick us for a long term care plan with a named engineer, a published SLA, and a 30 day money back. Pick FixRunner if you have a one off error today and just want it fixed in the next hour.
If your site is fine ninety nine percent of the time and you only need somebody on the rare critical error, the $49 one off model is hard to beat for that single ticket.

How we scored this
Every row in the table has a defensible source. If a claim isn't here, it isn't in the score. Last full re-verification: June 2026.
Public pricing pages, feature lists, and terms of service from FixRunner as of the last update date, plus hands on experience running the same maintenance work we compare. When FixRunner changes a plan, we update the row.
Winner is decided by what the buyer actually gets in the plan, not by which side markets it louder. If FixRunner does something better than us, that row is theirs. Ties are called when the feature is materially the same.
We don't score claims we can't verify (e.g. 'best-in-class', 'enterprise-grade', anonymous testimonials). Response SLA, backup cadence, and included edit hours are only counted when they appear in the vendor's public terms.
Written and maintained by Ali Yasin Jatoi, founder of WebCare Studios and former fleet manager of 150+ Pearl Lemon internal WordPress sites since 2019. Errors get corrected the same week they're flagged. Email hello@webcarestudios.com.
No spin. Where they beat us, we say so. Winner cell is highlighted.

Talk to Scale tierPricing, as published
Copied from public pages, not from a sales call. Where a number is not published we say so rather than guess.
One time fix
$49
Thirty minutes of unlimited help on a single issue. Strong option for a one off error.
Premium
$59/mo
Entry monthly plan. Three month minimum commitment on the plans page.
Rocket
$89/mo
Faster response and more included work. Three month minimum applies.
Checked against each provider's public pages in July 2026. Prices change, so treat these as a starting point and ask for the current sheet before you sign. Where a provider gates a number behind a sales call, we write that instead of guessing.
From the support forums
Patterns we see repeated on the WordPress.org support forums, Reddit threads about WordPress care plans, and in handover calls when someone moves to us. Paraphrased, never copied, never attributed to a named person.
The three month minimum surprises people
Buyers routinely say they read the monthly price and only found the minimum term at checkout or in the terms.
How we handle it: No minimum term. Month to month, cancel with one email, plus a 30 day money back window on top.
Security features sit on the upgrade tier
A common pattern with cheap entry plans is that the thing you actually bought the plan for, hardening and cleanup, needs the higher tier.
How we handle it: Malware monitoring is on every plan and cleanup is free if a site is hacked while under our care.
One off fixes do not stop the next one
Owners describe paying for the same class of error three or four times because nothing upstream changed: no staging, no update policy, no rollback.
How we handle it: Every plan includes staged updates with a rollback path, so the same failure does not come back next quarter.
Buyer checklist
Take this list to FixRunner, to us, and to the next three providers you shortlist. If a provider dodges more than two of these, keep looking.
What is your response time in writing, per plan, not on the marketing page?
Almost every provider advertises 24/7. Far fewer will put a number per plan in the contract. Ask for the clause, not the badge.
Do you test plugin updates on staging, and what do you roll back with?
The single most common care plan failure is an update pushed straight to production. Ask which staging tool, who reviews it, and how long a rollback takes.
Where do backups live, and when did you last restore one?
A backup nobody has restored is a guess. Ask for the date of the last restore drill on a site like yours.
If my site is hacked while on your plan, who pays for the cleanup?
Many plans include scanning but bill cleanup separately, often several hundred dollars. Get the answer before you need it.
Who is the actual human on my site, and will it be the same person next month?
Shared ticket queues mean explaining again your stack every time. Ask for a name, and ask what happens when that person is on leave.
Is there a minimum term, and how do I cancel?
Minimum terms and cancel by phone policies are the two clauses buyers regret most. Cancelling should be one email.
What is explicitly not included?
Content edits, new features, design changes, and third party integrations are the usual exclusions. Get the out of scope list in writing.
Can I see a real monthly report from an anonymised client?
Reports show what a provider actually does in a quiet month. If they cannot show one, the work may be thinner than the plan page suggests.
How we are different

"I compared three care providers head to head before picking WebCare. The SLA was the only one I could quote back at them in writing. Six months in, zero downtime and the same engineer every month."

FixRunner has a strong Trustpilot score (4.9 from thousands of reviews) and a long track record on one off WordPress fixes. The gap is on ongoing care: plan pages do not publish per plan response times, and the 3 month minimum on monthly plans is unusual in the market. For a single emergency they are a fair pick. For long term care, a written SLA and no lock in matters.
Yes. One time critical error fixes start at $149 with a 4 hour first response, and we credit the cost against your first month if you move onto a care plan inside thirty days. Useful if you want to try us before subscribing.
Their Premium plan is $59 for 60 minutes of work and 60 minutes of small tweaks per month with shared team support. Our $99 Care includes unlimited update management, restore drill monthly, malware monitoring, performance baseline, and a real refund window. Different products at similar price points.
FixRunner Premium and Rocket plans require a 3 month minimum commitment on the page we reviewed. Our plans are month to month with no lock in, plus 30 day money back.
Most sites are onboarded inside 48 hours. We take a full backup, run a baseline audit, set up monitoring, and brief you in plain English before we touch anything live. Zero downtime, no missed emails, no broken links.
Every plan is covered by a 30 day money back guarantee in plain language. Cancel inside the first thirty days for any reason and you get a full refund. No forms, no friction.
No. We keep your URLs, redirects, sitemaps, and schema intact. We also baseline your Google Search Console before the move so we can prove ranking stability after.
Senior WordPress engineers based in the US and Pakistan, on call 24 by 7. From the $199 Care Plus plan, you get a named lead engineer who owns your site, replies on first name terms, and stays the same person month after month.
No. Emergency response is included in every care plan. If your site goes down at 2 AM, we are already on it before you wake up. No surprise invoices.
Yes. Monthly plans cancel any time with one email. Annual plans cancel inside the 30 day window for a full refund, and after that on a prorated basis. No retention loops, no forced calls.
We benchmark ourselves against every serious option. Pick another and read it.
