INP (Interaction to Next Paint)

How responsive your page feels when a user clicks, taps, or types. Pass under 200ms.

INP replaced FID in March 2024. It measures the worst interaction delay during the visit, not just the first. Heavy JavaScript bundles and chat widgets are the most common causes of INP failures.
