Canonical URL
The single preferred URL for a piece of content when multiple URLs could serve it.

rel canonical tells Google which URL to index when /post, /post/, /post?utm=foo, and /post?ref=bar all show the same content. Mistakes here cause duplicate content issues, including the 72,000 canonical errors we cleaned for one UAE real estate portal.
