Quick answer
Website maintenance for speakers keeps the pages planners and bureaus actually use working: the booking or enquiry form, the showreel, the one sheet download and the topics page. We test those after every update, freeze updates in your event weeks, and keep the site ready when a bureau sends a planner your link. Plans start at $99 a month, and a human engineer replies within 8 to 12 hours.
We already look after websites for working speakers, including Adam Mendler, Aaron Golub and Everest Nevraumont, who have each put their names to reviews of our work. The pattern is always the same: the site is quiet for weeks, then one planner visit decides a booking.

A speaker site gets very little traffic compared with a shop, but each visit is worth more. When a planner clicks through from a bureau shortlist, they are deciding between you and two or three other names. If the enquiry form fails or the page hangs, they rarely try again. They book the next name.
So the cost of downtime is not measured in visits. It is one lost engagement at your fee. That is why we test the enquiry form itself after every change, not just whether the homepage loads.
The most common fault we see on speaker sites is a showreel that stops playing. A page builder update changes how embeds load, a privacy or cookie plugin blocks the video player, or a speed plugin delays the script until the planner has already scrolled away.
On every update we play the showreel and topic videos on staging, on desktop and on a phone, before anything goes live.
Bureaus and planners want the one sheet: a PDF with your topics, bio and headshots. Links to it break when files are renamed during a media library clean up, when a security plugin blocks direct file access, or when the site moves host.
We keep the one sheet at a stable address, check the download after updates, and make sure it is not so heavy that it fails on a phone at an airport.
When an agent sends your link, the site has to answer three questions fast: what you speak about, who you have spoken for, and how to check availability. We keep those pages loading quickly, make sure the contact route reaches the right inbox, and confirm the form sends to both you and your agent if that is how you work.
Before a big keynote, your site gets more visits than usual: attendees look you up, organisers share the link, press check the bio. That is the worst week for a surprise.
Tell us your event dates and we freeze non security updates for that week. Security patches still go on, after staging tests. The week after, we catch up on the held updates.
Full check of forms, video, downloads and speed. Any fixes done now.
Update freeze except security patches. Extra uptime watching.
Held updates applied on staging first, then live.
Most speaker sites sit well on Care at $99 a month or Care Plus at $199, which adds a named engineer and 30 minutes of edits a month for new testimonials, topics and dates. If your site sells courses or books directly, Commerce at $349 adds checkout monitoring. If the site is down right now, emergency help is a flat $249.
Tested updates, verified backups, monitoring and security, plus checks on the pages speakers rely on: enquiry form, showreel, one sheet download and topics page.
