Google Ads suspended for a compromised site?
The short answer
A compromised site suspension needs more than an appeal. Preserve the notice, investigate the affected URLs, remove malicious code and close the route back in. Then prepare evidence and submit the appropriate review. Our Emergency Fix is the entry point for technical recovery. Google decides whether and when an account is reinstated.
The request usually sounds like this:
Our ads stopped because Google says the site is compromised. We check the policy notice, destination URLs and redirects first, including behaviour seen on mobile. A fix is handled through a preserved backup, manual cleanup and a persistence hunt. Prevention means patching the entry point, rotating credentials and checking for returning changes.
1. Clean up and hunt for persistence
Preserve logs and a recovery copy before changing files. Inspect core, plugins, themes, database content, scheduled tasks, unexpected administrators and server rules. Identify the vulnerable component or stolen access so deleting a payload is not mistaken for closing the compromise.
2. Assemble the evidence pack
Record affected URLs, the technical findings, changes made and validation checks. Keep secrets and personal information out of appeal attachments. Check destinations with the same URL parameters used by ads. A clean homepage alone does not establish that every advertised landing page is safe.
3. Submit the right appeal
Use the review route named in the account notice and provide accurate evidence. We can prepare the technical explanation and support submission with your permission. Merchant Center and Google Payments can have separate policy notices and review paths. Technical cleanup cannot resolve unrelated identity or billing requirements.
4. Prevent the same route back in
Move ongoing updates, verified restores and security checks into a care plan. A human tests every update on staging before release. Keep an access inventory and change record so suspicious modifications can be investigated. No service can promise that Google will approve an appeal.
Start with an Emergency Fix
Emergency Fix is $249. We confirm the technical scope before work starts. First response: 8 to 12 hours.

Frequently asked questions
Will a cleanup automatically reinstate my ads?
No. Cleanup addresses the site. Google still reviews the policy issue and decides on reinstatement.
Can you help with Merchant Center or Payments notices?
We can investigate the website side and prepare technical evidence. Separate account, identity or billing issues must follow the relevant platform process.
Should I appeal before cleaning the site?
Read the notice first and preserve evidence. For a genuine compromise, complete and verify the technical remediation before claiming the site is clean.
